The LankaSecure System is a system to facilitate maintaining of the registry of scripless securities and the settlement of such securities transactions. LankaSecure system established by CBSL in terms of the Monetary Law Act and comprises of the Central Depository System (CDS) and the Scripless Securities Settlement System (SSSS). The issue of Government securities and Central Bank securities in scripless form and settlement of trades in the secondary market are performed on Delivery/ Receive versus Payment (DvP/ RvP) basis or Deliver/ Receive free in the LankaSecure system.
