Important Update – Appointing Hatton National Bank PLC as the new Trustee and Custodian for CAL Unit Trusts

As a part of our ongoing efforts to serve you better, we are pleased to inform you that Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB) will take over the role of Trustee and Custodian of all unit trust funds managed by CAL, with effect from the 05th of June 2023. This role was previously played by Deutsche Bank, Colombo. HNB is the largest provider of Trustee and Custodian services in Sri Lanka, and we are confident this change will result in an enhanced service offering to our valued clients.

Effective 05th June 2023, all transactions, including unit creations, redemptions, and other fund-related activities, should be directed to the new bank accounts at HNB. We kindly request you to update your records accordingly to ensure any investments you make are credited to your account without any delay or disruption.
